3. How do add iPagos.net in my mobile phone?
Sign up for iPagos.net through our easy online application.
4. Are payments through iPagos.net secure?
Yes.  When you pay with iPagos.net, a new private pass code and an authentication code are generated at the moment of the purchase.
5. When are the funds debited from my account?
The funds are immediately debited from your account.  The process is online and in real-time process.
6. What type of account must I have in order to be able to pay using my cell phone?
You should have an ebsg® virtual account which is directly linked to your cell phone number.
7. How will the system determine that the amount is to be debited from my account?

The system will debit the amount from your account because:

  • The account is directly linked to your cell phone number, and
  • Because the transaction is being initiated at the merchant’s location using a POS iSwipe-L which will identify it as unique at that precise moment.
8. What are the minimum requirements my cell phone must have in order to be able to pay this way?
There are no requirements; it can be used either with or without internet access.
9. What will happen if my cell phone is an older model which does not have Internet access as one of its features?
Cell phones that do not have internet access can dial a number that will take them directly to an automated response system (IVR), similar to those you would encounter when you dial a bank’s phone number.
10. Will be the case if my cell phone does have the Internet access feature?
Cell phones with internet access which can download applications will be able to work with a Java based program which will allow them to directly connect to the iPagos system to perform transactions.
